Missing teeth not only affect your confidence but also affect your ability to chew and enjoy food. Natural teeth can be missing for a variety of reasons such as tooth decay, injury or gum disease.
A dental implant is designed to replace missing teeth by placing a titanium post carefully into the jaw to mimic the function of the tooth root; a crown is fitted to the titanium post. Multiple teeth can be replaced by placing several implants and attaching a bridge or denture. All options give the appearance of natural teeth and help to restore chewing function.
At Brunner Court Dental & Implant Practice our experienced dental implant team Dr Nikhil Oberai, Dr Natasja Kashyap and Dr Krunal Desai use cutting edge technology to plan and treat our patients and we are proud to have a 99% success rate in placing implants at the practice.

At Brunner Court Dental & Implant Practice we offer All-On-4 Implants from £262.52* per month.
The All-On-4 system is a modern alternative solution if you have lost all of your teeth. This treatment replaces your missing teeth with a full dental bridge, supported by just four dental implants.
Benefits on All on 4 Implants:
The Same Day Teeth procedure replaces a full upper and/or lower arch of teeth with a bridge of between 10-12 teeth supported by 4-6 implants. The implants are strategically placed to spread the force and pressure created whilst eating and chewing across the whole jaw.
This treatment is ideal for patients who:
If you have a single missing tooth, a single implant is the best solution for you. Dental implants have become first choice for many patients who have a missing tooth at the front of their mouth. A single titanium implant is placed into the bone and allowed to heal for 12 weeks. Once healed, an impression is taken of the area and a custom made abutment and cosmetic crown are made to fit onto the implant. This dental implant crown should function and feel just like your own tooth.
If you have more than one tooth missing, this can lead to a large gap in your mouth resulting in difficulty eating, speaking and affecting the appearance of your smile. Multiple dental implants can be placed to restore the gap. This can be as a combination of single implants and cosmetic crowns or a cosmetic bridge connecting implants together. The number of dental implants required depends on a number of factors and a consultation is advisable in order to determine this.
If you struggle wearing your denture or it becomes loose and moves about, causing difficulty in eating and speaking you may want to consider implant retained dentures. Dental implants can be placed to secure your denture into position. We will place between 2 and 4 implants in the lower jaw and 4 implants in the upper jaw. The denture can then be secured into position when needed and removed to clean with ease.
With conventional dental implant placement, we have to cut into the gum but with a “keyhole dental implant” we make a much smaller incision. It is a minimalist approach to dental implant installation into the jaw bone, ensuring that there will be less trauma to gum tissues meaning there will be less post operative swelling and discomfort.
On occasion, it may be necessary to replace bone that has become lost, often after a tooth has been extracted and left for some time. This is called bone resorption and is common amongst patients with missing teeth. A number of bone replacement materials can be utilised to replace bone and can either be placed prior to implant placement or at the same time.
